“Our group recently booked the private half day hike with Blue Ridge Hiking Company and it was a very nice afternoon. One of the highlights for us was the convenience of being driven to the trailheads. This made the whole trip much more relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide Lexie was sweet, accommodating and attentive to our interest. The company also provided a snack which was a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend Blue Ridge Hiking company for a tailored stress free day of hiking.”

Asheville: Yoga on a Mountain Hike

4.Asheville: Yoga on a Mountain Hike

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 7 reviews · 2h 30m · from $69Best value

Meet your English-speaking guide at Bearwallow Mountain, about 30 minutes from Asheville, for a gentle hike to an open summit. Guides such as Crista and Carolynne combine trail notes on local flora and fauna with an hour of accessible yoga. Mats and straps are provided, and sunset departures may be available.

“This was the perfect activity to start our morning! We were supposed to be on the sunset hike but, due to weather, we were rescheduled to the following morning and that worked perfectly! The pace of the hike was ideal and our guide, Carolynne (sp?) gave us lots of information on the flora and fauna along the way which was really interesting. The yoga was accessible for all levels and there’s no pressure to do anything you’re not completely comfortable with. The view is completely spectacular and well worth the hike to the top of the mountain just for that.”
