★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 33,630 reviews · 10 - 11 hours · from $17Our pick

Travel from Marrakech to Ouzoud with hotel pickup, a local guide, scenic viewpoints, an argan oil cooperative, a moderate hike, and a short boat ride beneath the 110-meter falls. Guides such as Youssef, Hachimi, and Mohamed Boufarma are praised for patient explanations and photo help. Lunch costs about €10 to €12 extra.

“Mohamed Boufarma was an amazing and knowledgable guide. We found it so impressive that he was switching between English, French, Italian and Arabic to explain the history of the falls. We got picked up from our resort around 8:45, it was a 3/ 3 and a half hour coach journey with a brief stop off at a restaurant for a toilet break / snacks. When we arrived, we learnt how Argon oil was made, got to try some mint tea, and had plenty of photo opportunities (Mohamed was a great photographer). We ended the trip with a boat ride towards the waterfall and a meal overlooking the beautiful view. 10/10…”

“Brilliant way to experience the the Ourika Valley from Marrakech. Transportation was well organised from an easy to find location. Brahim the guide was excellent, very accommodating and always eager to make sure everyone was okay and enjoying themselves. The food served at the riverside cafe was very tasty, so we’d suggest including the add-on lunch to your booking. The hike to the waterfalls was great as well. We’d recommend wearing relatively sturdy shoes as the terrain is quite rocky.”
