Rio: Tijuca Forest Small Group Hike to Caves and Waterfalls

1.Rio: Tijuca Forest Small Group Hike to Caves and Waterfalls

★★★★★★★★★★4.9 · 536 reviews · 6 hours · from $69Our pick

Explore Tijuca Forest with a bilingual guide such as Vini, Riccardo, Tito, or Luiza on a moderate 6.2 km trail. Visit Taunay Waterfall, Mayrink Chapel, a suspension bridge, coffee-era ruins, Morcego’s Grotto, and Baronesa Cascade, where you can cool off under the falls. Hotel pickup is available from selected South Zone properties.

“Hike was good. Guide Vini is quite knowledgeable and friendly. Going to nature is always healing, but cannot say i was exited with what i saw. There were no mosquitos, we didn't see animals, places were sometimes empty, then other people arrive. So these conditions vary. Hike was not average, for me it was closer to easy level, however in the end everybody was sleeping in the car) So it's a good option to spend some time in Rio and explore the park. Car arrived almost on time, but i would like if orginizers will also send information about the car, like plate number, model or name on the car.”
