Al was great and very knowledgeable about all things Glaciers and Waterfalls! He also very kindly pulled over on the way back to Reykjavik in the evening as the Northern Lights were out and incredibly vibrant which was more than we had ever bargained for! Would 10/10 recommend this experience to everyone I know and was definitely the highlight of our time in Iceland.”

He does this hike all the time so he knows EXACTLY where is safe and where isn’t to walk when you’re on the volcano surface. Very unique and awesome experience doing this tour. Just be warned the hike up does take effort and time so prepare yourself with snacks, water and proper weather gear just in case Mother Nature turns sour. Does get extremely windy as you get higher on your hike be cautious of that. Would HIGHLY recommend…”
